The Sri Lanka Police stated that two Chinese nationals, arrested in connection with the abduction and murder of a fellow Chinese national at the Colombo Port City premises, are scheduled to be produced before court today (27) for an identification parade.
Last Wednesday night, while three Chinese nationals were fishing on a bridge at the Colombo Port City, a group of Chinese nationals who arrived in a van assaulted them, tied their hands and feet, and abducted one individual.
The body of the abducted Chinese national was later discovered in the Karadana area of Eheliyagoda.
The post-mortem examination revealed that the victim died due to severe damage to internal organs caused by stab wounds.
Police investigations have further revealed that the victim, identified as Hao Song, was an individual involved in cybercrime.
